Theresa: Enjoying Sweden’s Winter

During the last week, the “real” winter arrived. Thanks to a lot of snow and temperatures around -15°C, I could finally use my thermo-tights and 100% whool sweaters, leading to a wonderful cliché-Sweden-winter feeling. Yesterday, the weather was incredible and some friends and I decided, it’s time for a typical Swedish winter experience: We went ice skating on Norrviken (a lake just 20 minutes outside of Stockholm which you can easily reach with public transportation). We rented the professional long skates (80kr/h) and enjoyed the sun, fresh air and scenery. The first “steps” were quite challenging but we quickly found our ballance and ended up skating 10km. It was simply breathtakingly beautiful! But see for yourself:
