While sitting at my Management lecture today (the second to last of the year mind you) the thought hit me, ‘how great would it be if I shared what it’s like to attend a lecture here at Stockholm Business School for those all on the blog?’ So here we go!
The particular lecture today is actually a double lecture- meaning it will be four hours total, rather than the typical two-hour long timeframe. Today, the reason for this extended lecture is due to having a guest lecture presented by Robert Wennberg from PricewaterhouseCoopers on organizational structure.
Fun fact: Here in Sweden, there is apparently a need for a 15 minute break every 45 minutes, which means that we always get out 15 minutes early also. Therefore any two hour lecture is actually an hour and a half. The break is usually preceded by a quick joke from the professor that we students may go wake up with a cup of “kaffe” in order to proceed.
As many of you will come to know, all my lectures as well as seminars are held in building 3 of the Kräftriket campus (also known as the business campus). Here’s a map to show you exactly where I’m referring to:
More specifically, my lecture today (as with ALL my other lectures so far this semester, actually) was located at Wallenbergsalen.
Lastly, here’s a first hand look into what it looks like inside a lecture at SBS.
Well, there you have it- a lecture at Stockholm Business School. Now I wonder: Which one of you will be in the very same spot as I am next year or in the coming semester?
